Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Able to pass a Tier (T1) clearance/background investigation
  • Experience in Clinical Quality/Risk Management programs.
  • Experience with program management in Federal Healthcare, Military Health System (MHS) or AFMS systems.
  • Experience in healthcare quality, risk, and safety processes.
  • Experience in Management, or in Healthcare related fields.
Responsibilities:
  • Process medical malpractice claims and assist with malpractice cases management
  • Review monthly medical malpractice payment reports
  • Work with medical facilities to ensure documents are sent properly
  • Assist risk manager to prepare minutes and work with AF Surgeon General
  • Prepare claim summaries and notification letters to involved healthcare providers
  • Review, update, and edit medical malpractice claims and release findings to DHA
  • Maintain a system of records
  • Collaborate with other AFMRA/SG3OQ functional personnel in adverse event forums to analyze patient safety events and adverse events in order to develop process improvement activities and disseminate clinical lessons learned.
