Job Description: Patient Safety Advocate

Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking a Patient Safety Advocate to provide supportive services for our government client. This position is on-site.

The ECOMPEX career position supports the following:

  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis on patient safety events.
  • Provide the client with patient safety recommendations to mitigate safety risks or prevent incidents from reoccurring to improve processes.
  • Implement recommendations/strategies to reduce patient safety risks.
  • Brief executives on findings/data derived from Root Cause Analyses.
  • Perform proactive risk assessments to mitigate potential risks.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the client to develop patient safety goals.
  • Conduct routine research to stay abreast of patient safety initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance.
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in nursing or healthcare-related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 15 years of experience in healthcare.

Primary work location: On-site

Travel Expectations: Travel is required for this position.

Position Type: On-site Work Schedule, Salaried position.
