Description
Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to provide supportive services for our government client.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day facilities operations, including space management, maintenance activities, and tenant services.
- Coordinate and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance across building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, security).
- Manage service contracts, vendors, and contractors to ensure compliance with the customer’s standards and performance requirements.
- Review, track, and respond to work orders, RFIs, and facility-related requests from the customers’ stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets for facility upgrades, repairs, and operational improvements.
- Ensure facility compliance with Federal regulations, safety codes, accessibility requirements, and environmental standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Minimum of 14 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in the Federal sector.
- Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, long-term projects and addressing business issues tied to client requirements.
- Knowledge of risk management principles and mitigation techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior-level client stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
- PMP certification preferred.
- Experience managing Federal facilities projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing facilities operations, space utilization, tenant improvements, and building system upgrades.
- Knowledge of Federal facilities standards, safety regulations, accessibility requirements, and environmental compliance.
- Experience coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance programs across multiple sites.
- Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and schedule management for facilities projects.
- Proficiency in facilities management and project tracking tools.
