Job Description: Aviation Architect
Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking an Aviation Architect to provide supportive services for our government client. This position is on-site.
The ECOMPEX career position supports the following:
- Analyze and interpret building space and aviation facility functional requirements and criteria related to funding authorizations in the Military Construction (MILCON).
- Provide subject matter expertise in design and construction criteria to define funding authorizations for aviation facility projects under the Military Construction (MILCON).
- Review state requests for funding of minor and major construction projects for aviation facilities.
- Perform timely reviews of design and construction documents for proposed projects, including construction cost estimates, construction contract change order requests, airport use agreements, real property lease agreements, and concept plans for new unit stationing, unit relocations, and requests for new Aviation Support Facilities.
- Perform timely reviews of environmental documentation for proposed aviation facility construction projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have an active Secret security clearance.
- Experience in providing aviation and architectural services, specifically for military or aviation-related projects.
- Knowledge of aviation operations, training, and aircraft maintenance processes, particularly within a military environment.
- Expertise in budgeting, planning, designing, and developing aviation facilities to support aviation operations and maintenance.
- Experience with aviation unit stationing and fielding of new aviation equipment systems.
- Familiarity with Aviation SRM (Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization) strategies.
- Strong understanding of military facility management and long-term infrastructure planning.

Travel Expectations: Travel is required for this position.
