Construction Project Manager

Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to provide supportive services for our government client.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily inspection and project management services for Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) and Military Construction (MILCON) projects.
  • Coordinate pre-final and final inspections and assist in punch lists development.
  • Review “Requests for Information” (RFI) from the contractor and draft potential responses.
  • Prepare and maintain contractual and financial documentation, specifications, cost estimates, field notes, and inspection records.
  • Perform limited technical design to produce drawings, specifications and/or statements of work for construction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to pass a Tier 1 government background check
  • Must have 4-5 years’ experience with construction management or civil engineering.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field.
  • Must have experience preparing and reviewing technical designs/drawings for construction.
  • Must have experience with SRM and MILCON projects.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) and government contracting.
  • Prior work experience on DoD or federal government facilities.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
